On exhibition Twentieth-century South African Art.
A former oefeningshuis (activity center), school and mission church, this charming building was saved from demolition in 1965 by the Rembrandt Corporation and named after the mother of Dr Anton Rupert, head of the corporation. Built in the shape of a cross, the building now houses a collection of contemporary South African art by more than 100 artisits.

Closed on Christmas Day & Good Friday

R16.00 per family

 

The Pierneef Museum will be closed from 21 August 2010 for several months, whilst restorations are done to the exterior and the interior of the building.

During this period the Pierneef Station Panels will be exhibited at the Rupert Museum in Stellenbosch
