Locally produced beer and cheese makes for a pleasruable country experience in Nieu Bethesda.
The Beer All beer made at the Sneeuberg Brewery use only malt, hops and natural spring water to produce a beer that is free of preservatives or additives. Three different Ales are produced, namely the crisper more bitter Karoo Ale, the slightly sweeter Honey Ale and the smoky dark Roasted Ale.
The Cheese Our cheeses are hand made from raw wholesome cow and goats milk using traditional methods of cheese making. Our animals are fed on pasture and karoo veld ensuring a natural product filled with goodness. Dexter cattle and Saanen goats are milked to produce our range of cheeses. We produce both hard and soft cheeses that are sold either plain or with a range of herbs and spices.
The Coffee All the coffees roasted by the Sneeuberg Trading Company are unblended country of origin Arabica coffee beans. We support African coffee growers and as far as possible purchase fair trade and organic coffees. Our coffees are medium roasted retaining the flavours inherent to the coffees country of origin. At present three different top quality coffees are being roasted They are an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Zimbabwean Chipinge and Tanzanian Organic coffee. |
